Mini Human Library

Part of UVA Global Week

The Human Library is essentially a library, but the “books” will be represented by individuals who have faced challenges, stereotypes and prejudices. Readers (ie UVA students, faculty, staff, community members) will have the chance to “read” these books. Each reading time is 20 minutes, with 5-minutes for the books to share their stories, and 15-minutes to have an open Q&A.

J-Term/Summer Engineering Programs & New Programs

Faculty will discuss their programs in Argentina, Sweden, Germany and Guatemala for J-Term and Summer 2017. New programs, student exchange programs and service learning projects will be introduced. Some programs are limited only to engineering students.

Complementary pizza will be served.
