Pre-Departure Orientation

The International Studies Office Pre-Departure Orientation (PDO) is an in-person session designed to address cultural, academic, and logistical preparation. Attendance at orientation is mandatory for all students participating in an Education Abroad Program.

**Students participating on a UVA program should consult their post-acceptance instructions in their application for details of their in-person session.**

In-Person Sessions

  • Friday, April 7, 2017, 8:00 - 10:00 am, Minor 125
  • Monday, April 10, 2017, 5:00 - 7:00 pm, Minor 125 OR Robertson 120*

If your advisor is Kathleen McLaren-Hawking, Martha Sadler, or Liz Wellbeloved-Stone: go to ROBERTSON 120 for your PDO on April 10.

If your advisor is Ryan Hathaway, Abigail Leake, or Margaret Walter: go to MINOR 125 for your PDO on April 10.
