Ingrid appreciates the challenge of applying her academic training as an anthropologist of education to her role as director of Global Internships and instructor for Global Studies courses associated with internships abroad. Having lived in seven countries from childhood onwards, she remains fascinated by the revelations, relationships, and serendipitous moments that arise through cross-cultural engagements. She believes that with an inquiring mind and encouragement, you can learn something profound in any internship abroad. Some of her greatest joys include train travel, South Asian textiles, and coffee.
